The Different Types Of Sex Orientation – How Many Do You Know?!
When most people think about the types of sex orientation you’re most likely to think of straight people or the LGBT community.
That’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (but that’s to do with gender identity, not sexual orientation). But sexual orientation is complex and ever-evolving.

Demisexual
Demisexual refers to people who don’t have a sexual connection or attraction to someone until they feel like a romantic connection with them. So before they feel that sudden spark they need to become friends with someone before anything can be taken further.

Biromantic
The term biromantic refers to people who feel romantic attraction to both men and women. They could still be sexually attracted to a different or same gender.

Pansexual
Pansexuals are attracted to any other sexual orientations out there and they’re also attracted to all gender identities.

Demiromantic
Demiromantics are very similar to biromantics, but they’re not completely identical.
A demiromantic person doesn’t experience any romantic attraction towards a person unless or until they have a strong emotional bond with the other person.

Asexual
Asexuals are people who don’t feel any form of sexual attraction and don’t enjoy any kinds of sex, including, oral sex, anal sex or vaginal sex. However, despite their sexual interest, they can still have loving and romantic relationships.
Queer
The term queer can be viewed in different ways and can be used differently too. Depending on how it said it could be considered an insult or something positive. However, the term queer refers to a member of the LGBT community.

Autosexual
Autosexual sounds pretty complicated but it’s in fact pretty simple. An autosexual is someone who prefers to has sex with themselves rather than with other people. Autosexual people still have meaningful romantic relationships. They just prefer their own company in the bedroom (maybe the odd sex toy) rather than anyone else.
Aromantic
Aromantic applies to people who don’t feel any type of romantic feelings or attraction to anyone or anything. They’re essentially romantically asexual. While someone can lack any romantic attraction to another person they can be sexually attracted towards them instead.

Gyneromantic
Someone who is gyneromantic is romantically attracted to anyone who identifies as a female, regardless of their original gender. So a gyneromantic could be romantically attracted to a transgender woman, other women, or a man who dresses as a woman.
Gynecophilia
This is an attraction towards femininity, which can appear in both men and women and can be applied towards both genders. So someone who is a gynecophilia can be a man or a woman. For example, a man or a woman could be attracted to a feminine looking man or a woman who they think is the epitome of femininity.

Omnisexual
Like the name suggests an omnisexual is someone who feels an equal amount of attraction towards everyone. This means that they don’t actually prefer one gender over another. It’s also applied to their romantic and sexual preferences too.

Skoliksexual
A skoliksexual refers to people who are attracted to non-binary individuals rather than cisgender individuals.
Spectrasexual
The term spectrasexual refers to anyone who is sexually attracted to various sexes or genders. What they’re sexually attracted to is a wide spectrum of things. Again this is a sexual orientation that is similar to others.
