“Antarctica. You know, that giant continent at the bottom of the earth that’s ruled by penguins and seals…”
Antarctica is our fifth largest continent, but more importantly, it plays a vital role in helping us understand how the world works and how much our (seemingly) small actions have impacted it.
This frigid desert (yes, desert) might not offer us humans a permanent residence, but for countless species of wildlife, Antarctica is a safe haven.
Over the years, researchers have dug deep (literally!) in order to uncover some of this icy continent’s unique secrets -and yet so many of us are still completely clueless when it comes to separating fact from fiction!
From blood red waterfalls and entire worlds that have been hidden underneath the ice; to being the birthplace of world records -you can trust us when we say: Antarctica has it all.
If you’re ready to take the trip of a lifetime without leaving the comfort of your own home or getting your appendix removed (yep, you really have to do that!), then join us as we uncover some unbelievable (but completely true) facts about Antarctica!
