ASOS…Pretty Little Thing…Missguided…Nastygal: girls, I’m fairly sure you will agree that as soon as that glorious, godly and down right saintly – ‘Do you wanna go out this weekend?’ – question is dropped, you scurry straight onto one of the websites listed above and raid their ‘going out’ section.

Yes, you can buy pretty much anything on the internet (come on, within reason), but that doesn’t necessarily mean that you should.

At the start, things always go so well. You spend an evening browsing through the gorgeous frocks available on the net, all at astonishingly bargain prices – it’s almost too good to be true. Before you know it, you’ve pressed the ‘pay now’ button (damn you apple pay). All you need to do now is to await the arrival of your fabulous new gown. It’s as simple as that.

But unfortunately, when it comes to online shopping, the phrase ‘you get what you pay for’ has never rang more true…

Thought you’d ordered a stunning new gown? Turns out you can’t even fit your arm into it. Bought a brand new luxury 3-piece sofa suite? Don’t build your hopes up, it’s probably a wooden, old dining room chair. Bagged a gorgeous limited edition designer handbag? You get the gist…we’ve all been stitched up on a poor online order before.

Prepare to be amused as we reveal 60 times online retailers made a complete and utter fool out of us…

1. What has been seen…..can never be unseen

We’ll kick things off with this textbook online shopping FAIL…

Forgive us for pointing out the (slightly crude) elephant in the room, but with flared bottoms and a seriously prominent camel toe … what’s NOT to like?! Maybe it just needs the belt? We think not.
