Who remembers Susan and Noel Radford from Channel 4’s 16 Kids and Counting?

Well, they appeared in the show in 2004 and they’re about to welcome their 21st child. The couple, who have been together since 1989 had their last child Archie in September and vowed he would be their last.

Speaking after the birth of their latest child, Mrs Radford said: “We’re happy to be finishing on a nice even number. I’m just chuffed he is here safe and sound.

“It’s strange knowing you’re not going to have anymore.”

“It was going to end at some point.

“We both think this is it. I feel sad in a way but now we can get on and enjoy the kids.”

Noel said: “We set out to maybe having three children but enjoyed having the kids around so just carried on.

“We’re addicted to having all these kids. We just love it.”

However, Susan uploaded a video message confirming she was pregnant again with a girl, with the caption: “We can’t wait to welcome you into the family precious little one..#soblessed”.

42-year-old Susan and 46-year-old Noel of Morecambe, Lancs receive no benefits and have supported all 20 of their kids on their own.

The family live in an £240,000 converted care home that they bought 11 years ago and they spend £300 a week on food shopping, with 18 pint of milk, three litres of juice and three boxes of cereal consumed every day.

Noel and Susan’s older children help a lot around the house with cooking, cleaning and looking after their younger siblings.

Noel runs their family business, Radford’s Pie Company also known as Faraday’s, a bakery in Heysham, had a vasectomy after Susan’s ninth pregnancy, but after they longed for more kids, he had it reversed.

He said: “Having it reversed is worse than going in the first time. I won’t be going back again. We’ll work something out.”

The Radford’s have earned praise up and down the country for working exceptionally hard to support their massive brood. Noel often leaves the house at 5 am to open up his bakery and make sure everything is done before anyone else gets up.

They’re also proud to say they have no credit or finance agreements and revealed that they set aside a budget of between £100 and £250 per child at Christmas and around £100 on birthdays.

The new arrival will join Chris, 29, Sophie, 24 (who has three children of her own; two daughters and one son), Chloe, 22, Jack, 21, Daniel, 19, Luke and Millie 17 and 16, Katie, 15, James, 14, Ellie, 13, Aimee, 12, Josh, ten, Max, 9, Tillie, 8, Oscar, 6, Casper, 5, Hallie, 2, Phoebe, 22 months, and Archie, eight months.
Baby Radford is due in November of this year.

“We don’t plan to not have any more and we don’t plan to have any more. If it happens it happens, that’s how we roll,” Noel told the Sun after the birth of Archie.

On their YouTube account Sue says: ‘We’re just on the way home from having a very special appointment. ‘And I’m just wondering if anybody can guess where we’ve been.

‘I hope you enjoy our gender reveal and, yes, I am pregnant.’

Surrounded by their children, they fired confetti into the air with pink streamers falling from the sky. After showing her baby bump off to the camera, Susan said: “I honestly can’t believe it.

“Normally I have an inkling of what the gender is going to be. I honestly thought it was going to be boy.”

Mr Radford adds: ‘”We’re just in shock”.

The video shows them revealing the sex of their next baby as they arrive home.
