We can all agree that with Summer being just around the corner we are definitely not ready with our beach bodies. This means we need a quick fix that will ensure we can feel comfortable and confident on the beach.

However, after trying the endless amounts of diets that are around these days – we seem to be at a bit of a loss. Whilst we understand losing weight is difficult, it becomes more daunting when you aren’t seeing the results you expected.

So, if you’re out of all options and want a way to achieve your beach body goals in a short period of time – then this is the hack for you. It does take some perseverance to get through the three days but you will be thanking yourself after it.

Remember: this diet allows you to lose up to 10 pounds, do not be upset if you don’t lose the full ten pounds because every single body responds differently to certain foods.

This is a specialised diet that doesn’t starve your body of any necessities.

Day 1 Breakfast:

Half a grapefruit

1 slice of toast with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter – the peanut butter can be substituted for almond butter, soy butter or houmous

1 cup of coffee – you should try and have a black coffee so you don’t up the calorie intake

Day 1 Lunch:

Half a cup of tuna

A slice of toast – this time without any peanut butter


Black coffee – or tea if you’d prefer!

Day 1: Dinner:

3 ounces of any meat of your choice – chicken, beef, fish etc

1 full cup of green beans

Half of a banana

One small apple

One cup of vanilla ice cream – delicious!

Day 2 Breakfast:

One slice of toast

One whole egg – however, you prefer it!

Day 2 Lunch:

One full cup of cottage cheese – or alternatively you can treat yourself to one slice of cheddar cheese

1 hard boiled egg

5 saltine crackers

Day 2 Dinner:

Two hot dogs – without the buns, you need to do your best to avoid carbs

1 full cup of broccoli

Half a cup of carrots

Half a banana

Half a cup of vanilla ice cream to treat yourself at the end of a long day

Day 3 Breakfast:

5 saltine crackers

1 slice of cheddar cheese

1 small apple

1 cup of coffee – again, try and have a black coffee as you aren’t adding up the calories

Day 3 Lunch:

One slice of toast – try and avoid putting anything on your bread

One hard-boiled egg

Day 3Dinner:

One cup of tuna

Half a banana

One cup of vanilla ice cream – the ice cream is there to maintain the sugar levels in your body (and it’s also a delicious treat after the hard three days of this diet!)

Top tips:

Firstly, all your vegetables should be either steamed, baked, boiled or eaten raw. This avoids adding other harmful substances into the veg like oil. The cleaner you can eat your vegetables, the better. It is these slight changes in your diet post-diet that will help you maintain to weight loss.

Secondly, you should try to either grill or bake the different meats you use. This ensures again that nothing else is going into it. For example, if you fry your meats you need oil in order to do so. By just grilling or baking your meats you are avoiding coating your food in fatty oils that are bad for the body when eaten in excess.

Try and AVOID alcohol at all costs. It is very important to maintain your hydration throughout the whole three days – drinking alcohol will not only dehydrate you further, but it will also add to your calorie count.

Make sure you are drinking a lot of water throughout the whole three days. Half the time when your body is telling you it’s hungry, it is actually in need of water. So, instead of sneaking a treat to momentarily cure your hunger, try to hydrate your body with a nice, refreshing, cold glass of water!

The only way to keep the weight off is to maintain a healthy diet following this three day crash diet. Do not attempt this diet for more than three days because it isn’t something you can maintain for such a long period of time.
