Its that time of year when we all get excited for I’m A Celebrity to come back on our TV screens! But before that, we all ponder on which celebrities are going to feature on this year’s lineup. It really can make or break a career and despite the lack of food and the gruesome tasks, celebs queue up to become King or Queen of the jungle and enjoy a bit of Ant and Dec.
Currently, there has been no date confirmed for I’m A Celebrity 2017! But like every year it’s likely to start in November and end in December 2017. The show usually runs for three weeks with the campmates being whittled down with daily eliminations which start right from the first week. Here’s what we know so far!
One celebrity heavily rumoured to be in the lineup is Emmerdale’s, Joe Gill. However, Joe has confirmed that he won’t be entering the I’m A Celebrity jungle after quitting Emmerdale. The actor who played Finn Barton on the ITV soap for three years left the show this week after his character was shot by his deranged mother Emma.
He has confirmed that he won’t be hopping on a plane to Australia because he doesn’t think he could live up to Adam Thomas’ hilarious appearance. Joe said to the Sun Online: “I can’t see myself doing that, and Adam’s a very hard act to follow.
“Entertainment wise, I don’t think you could get much better than that really, so I think whoever goes in after him has got a tough act to follow.”
This came after Finn’s death was confirmed on the show as he was announced dead in the emotional opening moments of Wednesday’s episode. His brothers Ross and Pete watched on as the medic team tried to save him but ultimately it was too late.
It looked like he might be in the clear after he was picked up by Cain Dingle and Harriet Finch after crawling out of the woods and throwing himself in front of their car, but as Wednesday night’s episode closed, his heart rate monitor began to flatline and he finally died on Wednesday.
Panicking viewers took to Twitter to plead for his safety, with one writing: “I am going to be so annoyed if they kill off Finn or blame Adam as the shooter!! emmerdale, give us what we want, a happy ending!!”
“Come on Finn you can pull through this,” said one, while another even commented: “If Finn dies on Emmerdale we riot.”
But while the confusion continued over the identity of the father, Cain Dingle or her nephew Pete – Emma secretly appeared disguised in a medic’s outfit and whisked the infant away.
One devoted fan of Emmerdale commented: “I’m loving every moment it’s compelling drama at its absolute best Emmerdale the best soap by a mile!”
However, there were many other fans who questioned how Emma could get through security when the police were actively looking for her and had issued media appeals.
“Except that would never happen in real life!!” wrote one viewer adding: “She would not be able to steal that baby! So far fetch. She needs to die already.”
