Back in 2008 actress Molly Conlin joined the square as Dotty Cotton, the little girl who looked like butter wouldn’t melt. However, it soon became apparent that the daughter of Nick Cotton had an evil streak. In the two years that she starred in the show she tried to poison her gran Dot Cotton, but thankfully at the last minute realized what she was doing was wrong. Molly, who was 7 when she first joined the BBC soap, is now 15 and is unrecognizable from little Dotty!
Aww wasn’t she just adorable…or so we first thought.
It’s no surprise she turned out to be one of the youngest villains ever, she was conceived in a one-night stand between Nick and an alcoholic woman.
8 years on Molly has changed a lot, this is what she looks like nowadays…
After leaving Eastenders Molly some time out from acting, presumably to focus on her school work. She did appear in an episode of Annabel’s Kitchen, as well as an episode of Horrible Histories and comedy series Blandings opposite Timothy Spall and Jennifer Saunders.
Molly posted this selfie on Twitter recently and also admits to being a massive One Direction fan. She still hasn’t ditched the plaits though!
She has grown up to be really beautiful and we hope to see her on our screens soon! 🙂
